BONJOUR!!!
I intend to use my experience as a former French teacher in Senegal (West Africa), Gabon (Central Africa) and as a student teacher in Katy ISD (Katy, Texas) to motivate students to achieve their educational goals through peer scholarship, multi-cultural exchange activities and resource sharing within each thematic unit introduced in class. My experience has been that if the classroom teacher finds a student’s learning style and is intentionally inviting, any student can be motivated to become a successful learner.
I plan to cultivate the interest of each student that passes through my classroom on the importance of celebrating different cultures and embracing people with different socio-economic backgrounds. My hope is that these students will be able to serve their communities with diligence, empathy and humility throughout their lives.
I am married to a Special Education teacher, Abas; and we are blessed with two children, Maryam & Alpha. I m ready for this new challenge. I dare announce that with the support of the Jones High School faculty, families and friends: "bring the fun on and let the learning process begin". Blessings!
