READING
We are reading the novel Ella Enchanted by Gail Carson Levine. Please purchase a copy for your child to use in class. The students who have their own copy are able to mark, highlight, and leave "tracks" in their books. The novels can be used during test times.
Students will have a "packet" of pages in their binder as they did with a previous novel. The packet is 36 pages in length and cannot be misplaced or torn. I cannot give extra copies of the packet or any page in the packet and students will lose grades if the packet is lost. Please help your child stay organized.
We are completing a double-grade project called "Creature Feature Pictionary". Students received project letters and handouts to help them complete the project according to directins and earn their super grade! Please work on this project a little each night in preparation for the March 24th and 25th due date. Projects handed in on Wednesday will receive 10 bonus points. Projects handed in on Thursday will be considered on time, but will not receive bonus points. Projects will not be accepted after these two dates and will be scored as an F.
Log on and create yor own username and password. Search for my Ella Enchanted vocabulary lists to play games and make flashcards. You can also take practice tests to prepare for our tests in class! Good luck!
