Happy New Year!
The new semester is beginning. Students who have had Mrs. Wilson and Mrs. Granger the first semester will now have Mrs. Blackwell and me this semester. I will teach Math (Data Analysis and Probability) in the morning and Poetry Alive in the afternoon.
Thanks to everyone who purchased coupon booklets from Bruster's. Also thank you for all the donations of canned goods, mittens, and socks.
St. Elmo's Annual Talent Show and Art Exhibition will be held on February 4. This is an opportunity for students to perform or display their talents. Performances should be 3 minutes or less and should be rehearsed at home. Students must return a signed permission form. We will begin practices the week of January 11. Students should come to school prepared to perform.
Original artwork can be exhibited. These need to be turned in to me by the end of January.
If you have questions please contact me by calling the school or by e-mail (shwright@mcsdga.net).
The weather outside has been especially cold. We monitor the tempertures daily. On colder days we have indoor recess. Students should always bring their coats and jackets to St. Elmo.
