Week of 5/13/13 & 5/20/13
Semester Exam List!! The office has given teachers a preliminary list of 9th thru 11th graders who are required to take the semester exam. If you would like to know if your child’s name is on the list please let me know. Keep in mind this list will change in the next few weeks.
Below are my lesson plans and important dates for the remainder of the school year. I know that is seems like a lot but my hope is that this will help to keep everyone organized so that our students can finish the school year strong and well prepared.

- Monday 5/13 – Finish Hotel Rwanda and finish Africa notes
- Tuesday 5/14 – Europe Pretest and if time start Europe maps
- Wednesday 5/15 – Europe political and physical map
- Thursday 5/16 – Collect maps, Europe capitals quiz Monday, and start Introduction to Europe notes
- Friday 5/17 – Computer lab to work on 7 Wonders of the Ancient World – due Monday
- Monday 5/20 – Collect 7 Wonders of the Ancient World, Europe capitals quiz, and do cultural geography of Europe notes
- Tuesday 5/21 – Finish up Europe and watch Bizarre foods of Europe
- Wednesday 5/22 – Europe open note test
- Thursday 5/23 – Last day of classes, collect books, and review grades
- Friday 5/24 – Semester Exams Periods 1, 3, 5 & 7
- Monday 5/27 – Memorial Day – No School
- Tuesday 5/28 – Semester Exams Periods EB, 2, 4 & 6
- Wednesday 5/29 – Teacher Records Day – No School
- Thursday 5/30 – Report Card Distribution 8 to 9:30 am
