I am a 2006 graduate of the University of Tennessee. I am in my 5th year of high-energy teaching at Northview Middle School. I have visited 40 of the 50 states, 5 different countries, and 3 continents. The world is such a FASCINATING place and I can't wait to introduce it to my students.  I have four fantastic children, and my beautiful wife is a native of Brazil.  Yes. . . I'm a mountain boy who speaks Portuguese. . . que loco!!!   I welcome you all.

* And so it begins. . . . welcome back!! Your first project for the 1st six weeks will be a powerpoint presentation (teams of two only) on natural disasters.  It will be due September 2.

* COMING SOON!!!!   Gradebookwizard.com    Parents will be able to log onto their student's account and see current grades for every class, missing assignments and even disciplinary notes.  We are constantly trying to improve our efforts to have consistent and open communication with parents/guardians.  Please participate and let's help your student succeed. 
 
* Daily objectives are answered in class each day.  The objectives are kept by the student until the end of the chapter, and then turned in for his/her notes grade. 
 
*  PARENTS : Every week, a current list of missing assignments is posted on the board in my classroom.   Your student should know their progress at all times.  If you are in the building, feel free to stop by and check it as well.
