Hello! My name is Megan Schaffner. I am a Special Education Teacher at Northview Middle School. This is my fifth year teaching at NMS and I love it!! I have the privilege of working with students in grades 5-8.
My undergraduate degree is in Mass Communications from Carson-Newman College (2002). I have completed two advanced degrees. My Masters of Education degree is in Special Education from Regent University (2004). My Education Specialist degree is in Educational Leadership and Supervision from Lincoln Memorial University (2007). I am licensed in special education and administration.
I am happily married to my husband Roger. We have one son. His name is Ryan. Also, we have a cat named Yoda. We enjoy spending time as a family. Thank you for visiting my website and GO COUGARS!!
