Welcome to the
TERRA BIOMEDICAL 9th GRADE CLASS!

This is a course that is highly inquiry-based and interactive. You will explore the concepts of human medicine and are introduced to the research process. Hands-on projects will enable you to investigate human body systems and various health conditions, including heart disease, diabetes, sickle-cell disease, hypercholesterolemia, and infectious diseases. The key biological concepts embedded in the curriculum include homeostasis, metabolism, inheritance of traits, feedback systems, and defense against disease.

You will be responsible for proper use of lab equipment, lab reports and projects assigned throughout each unit.

My husband and I have a three year old son, James...you will meet him soon and we have a Boxer named Rocko!
