I am a native of sevier county and I have lived here most of my life.  I recieved my Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from Lincoln Memorial University and my Master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Tusculum College.  I have been teaching for 23 years.  I have taught preschool, kindergarten, and second grade.  I enjoy working with young children.

I believe all children need a safe and loving enviroment in which to grow and learn academically and socially.

Meet Ms. Debra Stephens

Hello, my name Ms. Debra.  I have been a second grade teacher assistant here at Pi Beta Phi for nine years.  I am thankful for the opportunity I have each day to work with your children.

I am originally from the Southerntier Region of New York State.  After vacationing here, in Sevier County, for several years my family relocated to Gatlinburg in 1995.  I have been married to Jeff, my best friend and love of my life since 1984.  We have two wonderful daughters, Sandra and Sara. Over the last 14 years of living in Tennessee our family has grown to include two son-in-laws, Trevor and John and three delightful grandchildren Kyle, Kasidy, and Brooke.

In my free time I spend as much time as I can with my family.  I cherish every moment with my grandchildren.
