Students will begin working on AR Goals the second week of school. Please assist your child by listening to him/her read to you each evening. He/she should read the story twice. After reading discuss the story and ask your child questions such as who were the main characters, where did the story take place (setting), why did the author write this book (author's purpose), what were the important events of the story, how did the characters feel/act?
