All NMS Staff Members have not only the right, but also the responsibility and duty to reprimand or correct a student that is misbehaving. Disrespect by students toward any staff member will not be tolerated.
Northview Middle School Code of Conduct:
I am respectful.
I am responsible.
I am safe.
I am prepared.
I am learning.
Therefore:
I will respect myself, others, and the environment.
I will cooperate with my school family.
I will work conscientiously so that my teachers can teach and other students can learn.
I will make choices that do not endanger myself or others.
Students follow the Cougar Cash discipline policy. There are 5 and 10 dollar offenses. Students may also receive an automatic office referral.
Consequences:- Warning (verbal or cued)
- -5 or -10 Cougar Cash
- Note or Call Home to Parent or Office Referal
In Ms. Lane's classroom, students who lose Cougar Cash or are defiant will recieve a definition to write at the teachers discretion.
