Proud to be a Saints fan
Dear Parents--
We have started to multiply fractions with cancelling. We will be continuing with multiplication this week. After that we will move on to divide, add, and subtract fractions and mixed numbers during the next month or so. Multiplication facts continue to be a problem for students and are even hindering academic success for some. Continue encouraging and supporting your child's efforts to commit them to memory.
Having school supplies continues to be a concern. Pencils, notebook paper, crayons (or colored pencils), glue sticks, scissors, and pencils are needed for daily activities. Please check with your child to make sure that they have what they need to participate fully in class each day.

Congratulations to my New Orleans SAINTS!!!! My team won Superbowl XLIV in Miami last night over the Indianapolis Colts in a magnificient 31-17 victory. I have never been prouder to be a Saints fan!!
I am already looking forward to the NFL Draft and the 2010 Season.
