PARENT UPDATES

                                                 March 8, 2010

Dear Parents--
Multiplication and division of fractions are history.  We are beginning addition and subtraction of fractions this week.  Please remember that this week is a four-day school week for students.  The third grading period ends on Thursday, March 11th.  Friday is a teacher work day only.
Multiplication facts continue to be of paramount importance.  They are essential for determining the LCD of two fractions and putting them into simplest form.
Having school supplies continues to be a concern.  Pencils, notebook paper, crayons (or colored pencils), glue sticks, scissors, and pencils are needed for daily activities.  Please check with your child to make sure that they have what they need to participate fully in class each day.
