I will send very little written homework home throughout the year.  However, any class work not completed in class will be assigned for homework.  It is your child's responsibility to copy their assignments down in their weekly planner so they can complete them at home.

Every night your child should read their AR book for 15 minutes or more.  Your child should reach their 50% AR goal by interim, and 100 % AR goal by the end of each nine weeks.  To increase reading comprehension skills, (a large portion on the LEAP test), your child must read EVERY night.

Your child should study any vocabulary terms and study guides nightly to prepare them for their upcoming tests.  DO NOT WAIT UNTIL THE NIGHT BEFORE THE TEST TO STUDY!!!  Multiplication and Division facts should be studied nightly also.
