Hello, my name is Karen Stutzman. I have been teaching for 18 years. Thirteen of those years have been here at Northview Middle School. I graduated from ETSU with my Bachelor's Degree in Education in 1978. I stayed home with my children for several years. I then returned to college and earned my Master's Degree in Education in 2002 from Lincoln Memorial University. I continued my graduate studies and earned my Educational Specialist Degree in 2004 from Lincoln Memorial University. I am married to Randy Stutzman. He works for Regal Entertainment Corportation as a computer technician. We live in the Boyd's Creek Community. We have three children. Our son, Todd, is married and lives in Johnson City, Tennessee. Our daughter, Katie, is attending college and also lives in Johnson City. Our other son, Josh, lives and works in San Diego, California. I do enjoy working with middle school children. Everyday is an adventure.
