Welcome to the ESL Home Page! Pi Beta Phi currently serves 27 students in the English as a Second Language Program. We have students from Honduras, Mexico, Iraq, and India, all at different levels of English mastery. Our students range from kindergarten to 8th grade. The program's goal is to help our students achieve proficiency in reading, writing, listening, and speaking in English. By using art, music, games, computer programs, and practice that focuses on vocabulary, grammar, and usage, we try to minimize the anxiety of learning a new language and make learning fun.
¡Bienvenidos a la Página de Inicio ESL! La escuela de Pi Beta Phi actualmente sirve a 27 estudiantes en iel programa de ingles como un Segunda Lengua. Tenemos a estudiantes de Honduras, México, Iraq, e India, todos en niveles diferentes del dominio inglés. Nuestros estudiantes se extienden del kindergarten al 8o grado. El objetivo del programa es ayudar a nuestros estudiantes a conseguir la habilidad en lectura, escritura, escucha, y hablar en inglés. Usando arte, música, juegos, programas de computadora, y práctica que se concentra en vocabulario, gramática, y uso, tratamos de minimizar la ansiedad de aprender una nueva lengua y hacer el aprendizaje mas divertido.
