Recipe for Play Dough
Ingredients:
1 cup flour
2 teaspoons cream of tartar (DO NOT OMIT –found with seasonings)
1 cup water
1 tablespoon cooking oil
1/2 cup salt
Directions:
In heavy aluminum pot, mix all the dry ingredients. Add oil and water. Cook on medium heat for three minutes or until mixture pulls away from the sides. Remove from heat. Knead mixture on floured wax paper. Do this immediately. Keep kneading until dough is smooth. Dough should not be sticky. If your dough is sticky, add a little flour and knead some more. Store play dough in an airtight container or a Ziploc bag.
