Welcome to Mr. Ginn's Website
A.L.A. is a class designed for students who demonstrate a proficiency in language arts. The class is divided into four facets: vocabulary, literature, public speaking, and writing.
A student undergoes evaluation by both myself and his or her 6th grade teacher in order to determine eligibility. Students are allowed only one C per year in A.L.A. Two Cs mean a return return to standard classes.
The course is specifically designed to ready a student for the rigors of high school honor's courses and beyond. This is a two year loop. In 8th grade, students will not only have me for A.L.A. but also for advanced English.
