About the Instructor
I am of a product of the HISD school system! As a graduate of Michael E. Bebakey HSHP, health science has been a passion for a very long time. In 1999, I received a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Prairie View A&M University. Upon graduation, I began my teaching career. I also have extensive experience in breast cancer research, DNA oligonucleotide production, training and lab management. These experiences have equipped me with the knowledge and skills needed to teach biology. My love for students is the force that drives me. I have been teaching at Jones High School 4 years and also serve as the mighty falcons cheer squad sponsor.
