Morning Activities

9:00 - 9:15 = Children arrive at school- Attendance, lunch count, seat work

9:15 - 9:35 = Calendar activities, weather, "news," ABC Rap

9:35 - 9:45 = Restroom Break

9:45 - 10:15 = Theme Activities

10:15 - 10:30 = Math Tubbing

10:30 - 10:45 = Language Arts (letters, sounds, writing, etc.)

10:45 - 11:00 = Jolly Phonics/Journals

11:00 - 11:30 = "Centers"  Centers are small group learning activities.  There will be 5 centers.  The children will visit one center each day.  Two centers are "teacher directed" and the other centers are independent.

11:35 - 12:10 = Lunch

Afternoon Activities

12:10 - 12:15 = Restroom Break

12:15 - 12:30 = Stations- Children will do one station a day

12:30 - 1:15 = "Rest and Relax" with my teacher assistant, Mrs. Heady

1:20 - 1:35 = Recess

1:35 - 1:45 = Snacks

1:45 - 2:00 = Story, "Froggy", "Surprise Box"

2:00 - 2:30 = "Fine Arts"- P.E., Music, Art, Library (taught on a rotating schedule by Mrs. Tapper)

2:30 - 3:15 = Free Choice Time

3:15 - 3:30 = "Wrap Up" Talk about the day and make reminders about tomorrow
