My name is Dean Borchers and I am in my fourth year teaching.  I have always taught fifth grade after completing my student teaching in third grade in Omaha, Nebraska.

 

I have a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education for the University of Nebraska-Omaha and I also have a Bachelor's degree in Finance from Wright State University.

 

I am married to my awesome wife, Holly.  We have two sons, Vance, 5, and Seth, 2.  Vance is in Kindergarten here at R. Bruce Wagner.  My wife, Holly, is an Assistant Basketball Coach at Florida Southern College.  In my spare time, I enjoy playing with my sons, playing basketball, softball, and running.  I also enjoy reading all kinds of literature.
