I was born in Missouri but have lived many places. I have taught school for 28 years in Missouri, Nebraska, Florida, Israel and Tennessee. I love to travel and have been in 42 states and 11 countries. Because I love to travel, I love teaching World Geography! My second love is studying history and the people that make a difference. My favorite place is Gatlinburg!!! I love the mountains, the creeks, and all of the lush landscape. The people here are wonderful-warm, friendly, and genuine. I have a husband, three children, three grandchildren (two more on the way), two step-children, and three step grandchildren. I hope to have many more grandchildren in the future. Our new dog, James a labradoodle, has added lots of fun to our lives.
I have a Bachelor of Science Degree in Education and 30 additional graduate hours from Northwest Missouri University. I also have a Master's degree in Biblical Studies from Regent University and an Educational Specialist degree from LMU.
I believe that all children are a gift, are valuable, are able to learn and become responsible adults. My only rule for my classroom is RESPECT. Each student must respect themself as well as others.
