Geography Resources-Because History is so interrelated with Geography (See the Themes of AP World History in your Syllabus), you will need to have a fair amount of geographical knowledge. However this is a History course and we can not take the time to directly teach all that you may need to know. Here are some sites that should at least help you know what is what.

http://www.geographyzone.com/new/index.php?t=1&b=1 - The Geography Zone will give a fun way to learn especially modern countries. Are you up to the challenge? It also has some interesting geography facts.

http://www.sheppardsoftware.com/Geography.htm - This is another good site to challenge and develop you geographical knowledge and have some fun while your at it!

http://www.fsmitha.com/maps.html - Al l sorts of good historical maps.

REVIEW MATERIALS

Below are some suggested Web sites which have some merit and may be helpful to you in preparing for the Exam. Do not get bogged down here the Outline is still your best friend (see the syllabus) in narrowing what you need to know. The Internet can be a vast ocean of information but in prepping for the AP you do not want to be adrift in a vast sea. Do like the early sailors and stay close to the shore of the AP World Course outline!
