Hello!
My name is Mrs. Angie Reeves and I am happy to have the privilege of being your child's GT teacher this year. Here is a little background information about me. I am beginning my 24th year of teaching at Garriga Elementary. I have taught special education, kindergarten, and first grade students during this time. This will be my fourth year teaching a kindergarten, first, and second grade gifted and talented class. I graduated from Oklahoma State University with a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education. I earned my Master's Degree from the University of Texas-Pan American in Elementary Education-Supervision. I am married and I have three children-Kayci, Zach, and Taryn.
I believe that a good parent-teacher relationship is necessary for maximum school success. Throughout the year I will communicate with you through notes, phone calls, newsletters, e-mails, and parent conferences. I encourage you to contact me if you have any questions or concerns.
