Cool Colors: Green, Blue, and Purple
Primary Colors: Colors that can not be made by mixing other colors.
Warm Colors: Red, Orange, and Yellow
Complementary Colors: Colors that are straight across from each other on the color wheel.
Hue: The colors on the color wheel, or another name for color.
Monochromatic: Using one color in an image.
Secondary Colors: Colors that are made by mixing two primary
colors: orange, green, and purple.
Tertiary Color: Colors that are made by mixing one primary and
one secondary color. The primary color
is always listed first. Ex. Red-orange
Elements of Art: Color, Shape, Line, Value, Space, Form and Texture. These are the visual "tools" to create art.
