Imhotep Academy is a program at North Carolina State University, with the goal of educating and getting middle-schoolers interested in the fields of science and mathematics. They have four sessions throughout the year, each exploring a different theme. Imhotep Academy provides a lot of hands-on activities for the students, to show that science and math aren't only found in textbooks, but in the world around them. For more information visit their website at www.science-house.org or call The Science House at (919) 515-9404 or 515-6118.
