Welcome to Music Class at Carolyn Park Middle School!  Every student in the school attends music class twice a week as one of their resources.

In Music Class we sing, move, listen and play pitched and un-pitched instruments to many different styles of music.   All of the different skills and concepts we are working on open up a whole world to singing, listening, moving to and making music that helps us understand what music is all about.  We are also learning how music can enhance other subjects in school.   Check out the music games on my links page.   I look forward to a great year of making music with your children!     Thanks, Mrs. Long
